Independent study material. This bank contains original questions written from the official PeopleCert Foundation syllabus v5.0, not real exam content. The official syllabus weights the seven categories 30/10/10/40/5/2.5/2.5. A straight proportional split of 250 questions would give the last three categories only 13, 6 and 6 questions, which is too few to revise from, so they are raised to a floor of 24, 22 and 22 and their authoring scope is broadened to the full real-world surface of each topic. The 43 extra questions are paid for by reducing the two largest categories, so the original 250-question allocation was 57/25/25/75/24/22/22. Category 3, the ITIL Product and Service Lifecycle, was then expanded from 25 to 63 questions: it carries eight distinct lifecycle activities plus three structural concepts, and 25 questions could not cover that surface with enough variety to revise from. The current allocation is therefore 57/25/63/75/24/22/22, a total of 288. At 63 questions category 3 is roughly 22% of this bank against a 10% exam weight, so it is deliberately over-represented. ITIL Value System stays clearly the largest category, matching its 40% exam weight. This deviation is deliberate. Plan your revision using the official 30/10/10/40/5/2.5/2.5 weights rather than these question counts. ITIL Version 5 is a different syllabus from ITIL 4: the ITIL Value System replaces the Service Value System, an eight-activity ITIL Product and Service Lifecycle replaces the six-activity Service Value Chain, and categories on ITIL and AI and on value streams are new. Material written for ITIL 4 will not prepare you for this exam.
