Does Copilot in Outlook work in classic Outlook or only the new Outlook?
Most Copilot features work in new Outlook for Windows, Outlook on the web, and Outlook Mobile. Some features (like Schedule with Copilot) are new-Outlook-only. Classic Outlook support is more limited.
Can Copilot summarise emails I've already read?
Yes. Open any email or thread and click 'Summary by Copilot' — works on read and unread messages. For long threads, Copilot also extracts decisions and action items.
Does Coaching by Copilot send my draft to Microsoft for analysis?
Coaching analysis happens within your tenant's Copilot service. Microsoft does not use your draft to train foundation models — see the Copilot data and privacy commitments.
Can Copilot draft replies in my own voice?
Copilot adapts to context but doesn't fully mimic your style yet. Use the tone slider (Direct, Casual, Confident, etc.) and edit the draft before sending. Personal voice tuning is on the roadmap.
