What Is Teams Phone?
Teams Phone turns Microsoft Teams into a full cloud phone system — replacing your traditional PBX with call queues, auto attendants, voicemail, call transfer, and music on hold.

⚠️ Teams Phone ≠ PSTN. Teams Phone gives you the software PBX. For actual phone numbers and PSTN connectivity, you need a Calling Plan ($8-15/user), Operator Connect, or Direct Routing (bring your own SBC).
