💡 Study tip: Pin every answer to the tested stack: FVN 6.0, FNS 5.2, and Prism Central 7.3 — later product behavior may differ. Keep FVN networking objects separate from FNS workload-security policy. The Network Controller is the Prism Central-hosted control plane; a Network Gateway is a data-path role. A regular VPC hosts workload subnets, while a transit VPC provides shared routing and connectivity. NAT uses an SNAT IP for translated outbound traffic; No-NAT preserves workload addresses and needs upstream return routing through the Router IP; a floating IP maps external reachability to one workload on NAT connectivity. Monitor observes without blocking, while Enforce applies active allow and deny behavior. Choose evidence precisely: a hit log records a policy decision, an audit log records who changed what, IPFIX exports flow metadata, and a traffic mirror copies selected traffic for analysis.
