The MB-820 is designed for Business Central developers who build and extend apps with the AL language in Visual Studio Code - ISV/AppSource partners, per-tenant-extension (PTE) developers, and consultant-developers. You should have hands-on AL experience (objects, events, the development environment) plus familiarity with AppSource, source control, and CI/CD. Around 1-2 years of AL/Business Central development is recommended; it is the developer counterpart to the MB-800 functional consultant cert.
