About the CONSUL-ASSOCIATE Exam
Service networking and mesh: deploy, secure, and operate Consul for service-to-service communication
⚠️ This exam was retired on 15 July 2026 and you can no longer sit it. HashiCorp has confirmed it will not be replaced with a new version (retirement notice). Their reasoning was that Consul is used across too broad a range of use cases for a single certification to validate fairly. If you already hold the credential, it stays valid until it expires.
We have made this pack free. There is no exam to pass any more, but the material is still a good way to learn Consul, so all 250 questions are open to everyone with no payment and no licence key.
250 original practice questions for the HashiCorp Certified: Consul Associate (003) certification. Every question includes detailed explanations, scenario-based context, and exam tips. Covers service discovery, service mesh, security, monitoring, and operations.
Who Should Take This Exam?
The CONSUL-ASSOCIATE is designed for IT professionals with some hands-on experience. 6-12 months of hands-on experience recommended.
Typical study time: 4-8 weeks of focused study
