About the ENSDWI Exam
Master Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN — architecture, controllers, WAN Edge deployment, policies, security, and operations
The 300-415 ENSDWI (Implementing Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Solutions) is a CCNP Enterprise concentration exam. It validates your ability to deploy and operate the Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN (Viptela-based) fabric: the orchestration, management, control, and data planes (SD-WAN Validator/vBond, SD-WAN Manager/vManage, SD-WAN Controller/vSmart, OMP, TLOCs), WAN Edge onboarding, centralized and localized policies, end-to-end segmentation, on-box and cloud security, QoS, Cloud OnRamp, and day-2 operations. Passing ENSDWI earns the Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise SD-WAN Implementation badge and, with ENCOR 350-401, the CCNP Enterprise certification. Original practice questions. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sourced from Cisco Systems certification exams.
Who Should Take This Exam?
ENSDWI is designed for network engineers and architects who design, deploy, and operate Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN. Cisco recommends 3-5 years of enterprise networking experience; hands-on time with SD-WAN Manager, templates, and policies helps a lot.
Typical study time: 6-10 weeks of focused study

Exam Domains & Weights
The ENSDWI exam covers 6 domains. Focus your study time based on the weights below — higher-weighted domains have more exam questions.
| Domain | Weight | Practice Qs |
|---|---|---|
| Architecture | 20% | 50 |
| Controller Deployment | 15% | 38 |
| Router Deployment | 20% | 50 |
| Policies | 20% | 50 |
| Security and Quality of Service | 15% | 37 |
| Management and Operations | 10% | 25 |
| Total | 100% | 250 |
💡 Study tip: Architecture, Router Deployment, and Policies each carry 20% — they are the core of the exam, so start there. Make sure you can clearly separate centralized control policy (shapes OMP route advertisement on the Controller) from centralized data policy (acts on traffic at the WAN Edge) — that distinction shows up across multiple domains.

Cisco Certification Path
Cisco certs follow: Entry (CCT) → Associate (CCNA) → Professional (CCNP) → Expert (CCIE). CCNP Enterprise requires the ENCOR 350-401 core exam plus one concentration — ENSDWI 300-415 is the SD-WAN concentration.
