About the AB-250 Exam

Configure an AI-powered Dynamics 365 Contact Center — channels, unified routing, the AI agents and voice agents, the representative experience, and supervisor analytics (Microsoft’s beta cert AB-250).

AB-250 is a beta exam (schedulable now via Pearson VUE at a reduced fee). It validates your ability to design, implement, and support AI-powered contact center solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Contact Center and service-oriented autonomous agents.

Master Exam AB-250 (Transforming Contact Center Experiences with AI in Dynamics 365) — deploy Dynamics 365 Contact Center (the Copilot Service workspace, embedded vs standalone mode, Copilot for third-party CCaaS, the Agent hub, solutions and ALM, users, security roles, personas, and capacity profiles), implement channels (live chat, digital and record-based channels, the Azure Communication Services voice channel with inbound and outbound calling profiles, custom messaging APIs, real-time translation, and proactive outbound campaigns), configure unified routing (workstreams, work classification, queues, and skills-based, AI-enabled, intent-based, and preferred-representative routing), configure agent-assist and voice agents (Copilot summaries, Ask a question, knowledge sources, the Real-time Speech agent, and generative-AI vs classic-orchestration IVR voice agents built in Copilot Studio), tailor the representative experience (experience profiles, the agent inbox, session templates, productivity tools, macros, and knowledge management), and manage workforce management and supervisor analytics (the Quality Assurance agent, embedded Power BI KPIs, and Application Insights).

Who Should Take This Exam?

The AB-250 is designed for contact center engineers and CCaaS solution professionals with some hands-on experience. 6-12 months of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Contact Center, Power Platform, and Copilot Studio recommended.

Typical study time: 4-8 weeks of focused study
