Answered Bug Report asked by Dean Gross

Can I configure the enterprise brand manager policy in the M365 Apps Admin Center?

The question

I can find any way to configure the enterprise brand manager policy in the M365 Apps Admin Center, is that feature still in private preview?

The answer

Dean — great spot, and thanks for flagging this. You’re not missing anything obvious in the UI — there are real prerequisites that get tripped up.

The Enterprise Brand Manager policy isn’t in the M365 Apps Admin Center menu itself — it’s configured over at config.office.com (Microsoft 365 Apps Admin Center → Customisation), but it only surfaces once a few prerequisites are in place:

  1. A SharePoint Organizational Asset Library is set up for templates and images
  2. A Mail-Enabled Security Group exists for your brand managers
  3. Your tenant is on the right release channel — the PowerPoint Agent / Brand Kit experience is in Insiders Beta Channel as of April 2026 and rolling out more broadly. If you’re on Monthly Enterprise or Semi-Annual, the policy surface might not be visible yet.

I wrote a full walkthrough of all this — including the policy setup, the gotchas, and what Brand Kit actually does once it’s running — here: M365 Copilot Brand Kit — Setup Guide for IT Admins

If you go through it and still hit a wall on a specific step, reply here and I’ll dig deeper with you.
